ABOUT

Zola-Jourdan Savage, a West Baltimore native now based in Brooklyn, is a multidisciplinary artist and curator whose work explores Blackness through queer and Black feminist lenses. She holds a BFA in Integrated Design with a focus on Anthropology from Parsons School of Design.

As an Integrated Producer at MoCADA, Zola-Jourdan contributes to community programs and exhibitions. Her creative practice spans photography, collage, and filmmaking, including directing Butterfly Boyz for MoCADA Films and designing collages for Big Sean’s 2022 Coachella performance. She has collaborated with institutions like Lincoln Center, MASA, and Vibe Theatre, and her work appears in Black Collagist: The Book by Teri Henderson.

Her curatorial debut, Flaunt: Being the Dream, recently on view at MoCADA’s Abolition House, celebrates bold expressions of Black trans identity and joy.
